How it works
A simple process to help you collaborate meaningfully with Potsdam students.
Create a profile, share your preferences.
Once you create your profile, we’ll reach out to learn more about your business model, the vision for your company, and where our students may be able to help. We’ll explain experiential learning in more depth and add some additional details to your profile so that you receive only the most ideal collaboration proposals for your organization.
Receive project proposals.
Through our platform, you’ll receive interest for a variety of unique collaborations. We provide educators with the tools and help they need to propose projects that are effective for your organization. We include an overview of the engagement goals, the resources required to participate, a timeline, and the suggested process for the students to follow.
Accept, reject, or revise proposals.
Review each engagement proposal to make sure it’s reasonable for you and your team to take on. You can adapt proposals so that they’re more aligned with your organizational goals. We’ll help you iron out a final project charter that will maximize the outcomes for you and the students.
Launch project. Gather insights.
Our projects are implemented on a remote basis. The students work through the project charter we help to organize with guidance from your team and their faculty mentors. The engagements are designed to be a great learning experience for the students that are low maintenance, fun, exciting, and highly rewarding for you and your team.

This was quite an exciting project for our team at HUNGRY. It’s always great to hear insights from young, creative students. Since we were running three projects with the same course at once, it was great to see how the teams were able to build off of each other in order to deliver great results. By communicating primarily with the professor, we were able to keep our commitment down to a minimum while really providing these students with a compelling way to learn
Experiential learning is especially critical for business programs since blending theory and practice allows the students to build their confidence as they prepare for their professional careers. CapSource provides us with access to companies we would otherwise not be able to work with.
